Brief description
With a product range of more than 200,000 articles, sourced from hundreds of suppliers, precisely tailored to hundreds of stores, procurement is a key issue with enormous potential for savings. In this project, the focus is on logistical processes (order flow, ordering frequency, etc.) and not on negotiating commercial aspects (prices, etc.).
Supplement
The processes are automated with each other via the store merchandise management systems through the central SAP retail system to SAP BW on HANA. The role of PTA GmbH is in SAP BW. Here, among other things, the forecasts for future sales are created and the reporting of the application is carried out.
Subject description
Up to now, orders have been compiled and carried out manually in the stores. Automatic replenishment frees up to 3 employees per store for more important tasks such as inventory control.
