SAP BW: Certification support for Sybase IQ

Brief description
Supporting a database manufacturer in obtaining SAP certification for a column-based relational database for access from SAP BW, and implementation of performance tests.
Supplement
On the PTA installation of SAP, a connection from Sybase IQ to SAP BW will be implemented for the first time and brought to functional maturity, so that the SAP AG can perform a successful certification. Extensive performance testing will be carried out on the basis of the implementation.
Subject description
Sybase IQ is a column-based relational database, which was specially developed for the analysis of very large volumes of data. Sybase IQ is normally used as a supplement to existing databases or data warehouse technologies. Certification for SAP NetWeaver is awarded through SAP BW via the JDBC standard. Direct access to data in Sybase IQ is possible via the SAP BW Universal Data Connect interface, without it having to be loaded into the internal BW database.
