SAP BW: Enhancement of the existing planning system

Brief description
The existing applications for sales planning in SAP BW-IP are enhanced to include additional functions. These include deactivating/activating and deleting plan versions, reporting all planning data in a freely selectable currency for a freely selectable exchange rate type, enabling comparison of different planning statuses.
Subject description
Sales-controlled sales planning is based on a combination of scheduled materials/quantities/probabilities from a feeder system with figures from the operational ERP system (sales/orders) in order to maintain planning over a period starting in the current year and stretching several years into the future. The key figures are determined for individual regions and the data are merged in the global SAP BW.
