Brief description
Requirements analysis and design of an evaluation for displaying all the storage location stocks and year-end figures.
Supplement
It is currently only possible to approximately evaluate storage location values in BW. However, precise values can be determined using a BAdI (RSR_OLAP_BADI), for example. A BAdI (Business Add-In) is an improvement to the user exits. BAdIs use the same ABAP codes but offer greater flexibility for different levels of an enterprise. For example, in the case of a worldwide rollout, it is possible to use the same source text/code for each country.
Subject description
The report differentiates between the various inventory types and inventory categories, specifically: own stock (e.g. freely usable, quality inspection stock, stock in transit, etc.), external stock (vendor consignment) and unvalued stock (project stock and sales order stock).
