Brief description
Provision of a test/demo system based on SAP BW 7.4 on HANA as a virtual solution from the SAP Cloud Appliance Library (CAL), rolled out for the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud provider.
Supplement
The system, which is used for training and demonstration purposes, is based on Amazon Web Services EC2 (Virtual Servers) and S3 (Scalable Storage). It consists of the following components: SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP 7.4. SAP BW 7.4 on HANA SAP HANA Studio SAP HANA client Eclipse IDE with the add-ons ABAP Development Tools (ADT) and SAP BW Modeling Tools SAP GUI 7.4 with BI 7.0 add-on SAP BO Design Studio
Subject description
The virtual appliance, consisting of the SAP back-end server and an SAP front-end server, was rolled out for AWS and the AWS Services EC2 (Virtual Servers) and S3 (Scalable Storage) were configured. The virtual systems are accessed and managed via AWS and the configurations of the AWS access and administration functions.
