SAP BW: pre-ERP materials in sales-controlled sales planning

Extending the planning process in the existing application for sales-controlled sales planning for an automotive supplier in SAP BW in order to include pre-ERP materials. This is based on a newly created transaction that can be used to maintain data for placeholder materials, so that planned quantities can be generated at a very early stage (before project planning, no ERP material numbers are available).
