Enhancement of the existing application for sales-controlled sales planning for an automotive supplier in SAP BW to include a function making it possible to manually override prices from the ERP feeder system. A customized transaction is made available in SAP BW where price specifications can be maintained.
Subject description
Sales-controlled sales planning is based on a combination of scheduled materials/quantities/probabilities from a feeder system with figures from the operational ERP system (sales/orders) in order to maintain planning over a period starting in the current year and stretching several years into the future. The department wants to have the option of carrying out fine planning and corrective planning by means of manual price specifications. In addition, there is the option of maintaining expected prices in the future according to sales forecasts.
