The central tool for the release upgrade is the Administrator Workbench (AWB), as well as various ABAP programs. The test management and test coordination is to be supported using MS Office products.
Subject description
The release upgrade of SAP BW 3.5 to SAP BI 7.0 is a purely technical migration. The functional expansions and opportunities of BI 7.0 shall be handled in a subsequent project, along with the conversion of the authorization concept. The migration is accompanied by suitable test management and test coordination.
