SAP BW: Versioning of planned numbers and top-down adjustment

Brief description
Planned figures from other systems are loaded to the global BW daily. The existing planned values are updated accordingly. This data can therefore change daily. At certain points in time, however, the planned figures need to have an unchangeable status upon which adjustments (top down adjustment) can be based.

Implementation is carried out in SAP BI. In addition to the modeling tools in the workbench, Integrated Planning (IP), the BEx Analyzer/Report Designer and the Web Application Designer are also used. The application is integrated with the existing BW Portal.
Subject description
The existing reporting is expanded so that the corresponding data can be included in reports when they are released by the person responsible. To enable this, a versioning functionality of the planned figures is implemented in the global BW. This data can then be changed using different SAP BI IP functions.
