SAP ERP 6.0: Coordination of master data harmonization

Brief description
In an international pharmaceuticals group, the country subsidiaries will be gradually integrated with a central SAP ERP 6.0 system. The framework of this project supports the harmonization of master data. The data is extracted from legacy systems, formatted, and imported to the new SAP system.
Supplement
The pharmaceuticals group was reorganized so that two company areas are set up as independent groups. The corresponding, independently-operating country subsidiaries will gradually start to use a central SAP system, so master data must be formatted and migrated from the previously-used application systems.
Subject description
The implementation of the new system is carried out in separate waves, involving several countries within an economic region. As well as the introduction of the business processes implemented in the central SAP system, the master data must be adopted, in particular. Standardization measures are required, due to the hierarchical structure of the master data in the SAP database.
