SAP ERP 6.0: International Rollout Based on a Template
Brief description
Collaboration in an international rollout of a template-based SAP ERP 6.0 system in a mechanical engineering company. The rollout is carried out according to country groups in several waves. For preparation the template used so far is fundamentally revised. As part of the rollout, in-house developments are harmonized and forms are adapted to country-specific requirements.
Supplement
The revised template is intended to replace the standard software systems previously used in the national companies. These are both standard software that runs on AS/400 and older SAP releases. In a first step, the SAP system is upgraded to EHP 7 and the template used so far is subjected to extensive reengineering.
Subject description
In addition to country specifics in accounting, the focus is on business processes in sales and distribution and service, so that the SAP modules SD, CS and PM are particularly affected. In addition to the collaboration on the new template, test, training and rollout activities are also supported on site in the national companies (e.g. PL, AT, HU, CZ, SL).
