SAP ERP 6.0: Monitoring the order limit

Brief description
On the basis of an evaluation for monitoring framework orders, functions are to be provided to check compliance with the order limit, which could be circumvented by placing individual orders beneath the limit.
Supplement
These additional functions are implemented within SAP ERP by means of an ALV report (ALV = ABAP list viewer). Above all, the integration of Microsoft Office and the possibility of real-time access to relevant document data are used here.
Subject description
There are only a few standardized characteristics for detecting that orders have been divided up. To recognize this it takes detailed process knowledge, on the one hand, and experience of past events which made this evaluation necessary, on the other. It cannot be assumed that the development of a list of criteria is a once-off and primarily a static process. For this reason, an evaluation cockpit is provided, which can be adjusted to new knowledge at any time by parameterization.
