SAP ERP 6.0 Retail: Processing of third-party orders

Brief description
Construction materials and other items can also be delivered to the customers of a retail company directly by suppliers. It should be possible for the customer to trigger these third-party orders via both the specialist centers and the company's online shop.

For these processes, both the Web-based branch materials management systems and the online ship running on Hybris must be able to communicate with the central materials management under SAP ERP 6.0 Retail. This is mainly done using ALE/IDoc technology. The retail system is used to control both the ordering and the delivery and settlement processes with customers and suppliers.
Subject description
For third-party orders (e.g. of construction materials), new processes must be implemented in the materials management system. The customers can issue orders via the online shop, as well as in the specialist center. For online orders, the orders are transferred from Hybris to SAP Retail. In the specialist center, the branch materials management system is used for entry. With transfer of the order, further processing is supported via SAP Retail.
