Brief description
The editing options using SAPscript are not sufficient for qualified, attractive quotations in the field of mechanical engineering. A new design, created by an advertising agency on a Macintosh, is implemented in SAP R/3 using Office integration.
Supplement
The integration is implemented by controlling the functions of the SAP system. All the components of the quotation and the quotation as a whole are to be managed in SAP R/3 using the document management system (DMS), among other systems. Some general macros are to be created for the technical design preparation in MS Word. The details of the solution are described in the attached documents.
Subject description
Creating complex quotations in mechanical engineering that are to cover not only commercial quotations but also technical descriptions and illustrations. The solution will be initially tested in a German branch and then distributed across an international rollout.
