SAP R/2 RV introduction
Project duration: 1 year
Brief description
First, an upgrade to release 5.0 is carried out for the existing SAP R/2 system with the SAP modules RF, RK, RA, RM and RM-PPS. On this basis, order processing with SAP RV is introduced, replacing the old system that was operated on the host and Nixdorf computers.
Supplement
In addition to cost accounting and order management, shipping was also reorganized. In addition to this, invoicing was rationalized by means of automated printing and enveloping systems.
Subject description
The old system was operated by communicating between the host and Nixdorf computers in the branches. Processing was centralized by means of RV and integrated with the other R/2 applications.
