Connection of a warehouse location in another EU country (operated by a service provider with its own warehouse management system) to SAP Retail and Online Shop Germany and Austria

Stock replenishment via vendors, stock replenishment via distribution centers/stores in Germany and Austria by means of cross-company stock transfers including internal clearing, delivery processing (stock posting goods issue) for online shop orders, billing to the end customer, internal billing since these are cross-company sales.
Subject description
A new warehouse location in Europe was created to improve the delivery readiness for customer orders of the online shop. This meant that the supply of products from external and internal suppliers on the one hand and the processing of customer orders in SAP Retail on the other hand had to be discontinued. The link between the warehouse management system (WMS) and SAP Retail was established using EDI messages, which are exchanged via a converter.
