SAP S/4HANA master data migration from SAP ERP 6.0

The R/3 data necessary for the migration is extracted into Excel files. Only the data of the relevant last years are selected by time limitation. For the migration and preparation of the accounts receivable and partner data, a self-developed MS Access application is used because of the extensive mapping as well as the cleansing and enrichment of data and supply of customer-specific fields. The output of the MS Access application is used to fill the SAP XML templates from the S/4HANA Migration Cockpit. The SAP XML templates are validated and imported with the S/4HANA Migration Cockpit (LTMC). The migration of the price conditions is carried out in MS Excel using complex references for the mapping of scale quantities and preparation of the price data for the SAP XML templates. In total, 80,000 partner data, 650,000 price conditions and 2,000 output conditions are extracted, cleaned, mapped, extended and successfully imported into the S/4HANA system.
