SAP S/4HANA Sizing

Brief description
Coordination of SAP system sizing for an existing SAP landscape that is to be ramped up in the coming years. The aim was to determine the system resources required for the growth of the existing infrastructure and to define the right commitments for the hosted system with an external provider.
Supplement
As part of the project, sizing was coordinated based on existing and future processes in order to align the scalability of the existing SAP system landscape with future requirements. The planned ramp-up of user numbers, transaction volumes, suppliers and data volumes was taken into account. In collaboration with SAP, the CPU, memory and storage requirements for the coming years were forecast in order to be able to make a cost-optimized commitment.
Subject description
The system sizing focused on the dimensioning of the existing SAP landscape, taking into account the planned ramp-up of usage and transaction figures in the coming years. All relevant SAP modules and application areas were analyzed and tested in collaboration with the project team in order to precisely calculate the infrastructure resource requirements. The future requirements for scalability and flexibility were also taken into account in order to optimally prepare the system for the expected growth. The sizing results were evaluated and documented together with those responsible for the IT infrastructure and the provider.
