Brief description
Consulting and support in selecting an ERP system for a small/medium enterprise in the process industry. Starting from a preliminary selection made by the customer, a comparison and evaluation of the available application systems is supported.
Supplement
Solutions are evaluated for the process industry which have been expanded by system houses on the basis of ERP systems from the leading manufacturers, Microsoft and SAP, for the sector. The comparison is made on the basis of results from full-day workshops in which the vendors present the functions of the systems using specified business processes. The evaluation takes place largely on a qualitative basis, with GAPs being worked out in particular.
Subject description
The analysis focuses on the logistical processes in order handling, production and materials management. In particular, the sector-specific requirements relating to recipes and batches are considered in this process.
