SEPA mandate process automation

Methodologically, work is carried out every four weeks in accordance with customer standards. The backend of the master data application is a Microsoft SQL database. The REST API works asynchronously and has a retry mechanism implemented. When importing customer data from SAP, the creation of a SEPA mandate is triggered in the master data application. A regularly running job then handles communication between SAP and the application via a REST API. Once the PDF has been automatically generated in SAP, the mandate is sent via the application (by email). The status of the mandate is queried daily by the same job and, if necessary, the master data is adjusted accordingly. The design and implementation were documented in Confluence and adapted according to an agile approach.
