Support and further development of an advertising quantity planning tool

Brief description
An individual solution for calculating and forecasting advertising volumes is taken over by PTA The technical support of this software solution enables the customer, an internationally active retail company, to safely continue operating the VB6 application until it is replaced by a new software system.
Supplement
File exports from SAP Retail are the starting point for planning data. The VB6 system uses these for forecasts, the results of which are transferred to the SAP ordering process using a file exchange procedure. Data is stored in a dedicated SQL Server 2000 database. In addition, master data (also stored in an SQL Server 2000) is used for articles and branches, which are also made available for other individual systems.
