Support and further development of SQL Server based legacy systems

Brief description
Consulting, support and further development of up to 10 IT software systems (individual software) created by PTA for various departments of an internationally active pharmaceutical group with a wide range of professional and technical backgrounds.
Supplement
The IT software systems are mainly desktop applications with an SQL server (in the current version) as the backend. As part of the support, communication with other customer support facilities (database, infrastructure, user management) is carried out as required. Any further developments refer to additional evaluations or smaller extensions for the functionality (e.g. additional data fields) of the applications.
Subject description
The applications used by the customer and developed by PTA are constantly adapted to the current conditions (internal processes or legal framework) within the scope of support. This also includes that in the context of the lifecycle process interfaces must be revised or also adaptations and tests in connection with current Windows versions (or service packs) must be accomplished. All maintained applications are subject to the specifications of an operation support plan. The programming and development of the applications is mainly done with the MS Visual Studio (programming language C#, for the GUI Windows Forms, for newer applications WPF).
