Project duration: 7 months
Brief description
Support, optimization and further development of a controlling information system in an energy trading company. The enhancements of the data warehouse are concentrated to expand the ETL processes, so that wrong objects loaded by the main run can be reloaded. Additional reports for benchmark analyses are added.
Supplement
In the course of further developing and supporting the controlling information system, the further developments and structural changes to the operational source systems are integrated into the ETL process, thereby safeguarding operation of the data warehouse application. A further focus is on continuous performance monitoring and the related improvement measures, in the context of a continuously growing data volume and changing business processes.
Subject description
The tools available to controlling for monitoring the cash flows and the consumption characteristics are constantly adjusted and further developed to meet the changing legal requirements and enhancements to the business model.
