Subject description
As part of the project, a completely new, structured authorization concept was developed and implemented for the S/4HANA system landscape. The focus was on redesigning role and user management and defining a future-proof authorization structure. Key tasks included supporting the project team with user setup and role assignments, as well as designing and creating a comprehensive role concept for the IT project team. In this process, individual roles and composite roles were designed, structured, and implemented according to a clearly defined authorization model. Uniform naming conventions and structural guidelines were defined for all role types. Existing roles and permissions were analyzed and redesigned for all relevant business and IT processes.
