Technical upgrade from SAP ERP 6.0 to SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 7

Brief description
Carrying out a technical upgrade from SAP ERP 6.0 to SAP ERP 6 EHP7 for an existing 2-system landscape. The customer would like to use new functions with an SAP ERP 6.07, making it necessary to update the software.
Supplement
The current system landscape comprises 2 systems (development/test and productive). The existing system landscape is being expanded by an out-and-out test system for the upgrade. Following that, there will be an upgrade according to the SAP upgrade guidelines for a 3-system landscape. The third system will be installed using the software installation manager and a homogenous system copy of the productive system. The subsequent upgrade will be carried out with the Software Update Manager (SUM). Further preconditions for the upgrade are the MaxDB database which must be updated from version 7.7 to version 7.9.
Subject description
The customer uses the finance and asset accounting modules as well as controlling in SAP ERP 6. In addition to manual document writing, accounting data is imported daily from a non-SAP application. The upgrade is important for the finance and asset accounting modules in particular, because the customer wants to use the new functions for writing documents. Furthermore, the preconditions for a possible change of database to SAP HANA will be created with the upgrade.
