Telephone marketing system

This IT project is part of our digitalization and optimization of our customers’ IT landscape. Through targeted measures, we promote technological progress, optimize cross-system processes and create a sustainable basis for future developments. Brief description

Design and development of a software module for supporting communication with selected groups of insurance agencies' customers. In particular, this includes implementing software modules for a download client and database procedures for transferring sales campaign data to the custom-specific agency management and information system.

Supplement

The architecture devised for downloading data from the mainframe to the agency management and information system is displayed with the help of UML, which is also used to display the provision of this data for the sales promotion module. Evaluating multiple alternative technical solutions involves implementing a prototype. This prototype is designed as a web service and it is implemented with the help of MS Visual Studio .NET. The data, which is to be transferred in XML format, is stored in a Sybase Adaptive Server Anywhere 9 database. The XML data flow is also used for the display in the sales promotion module's dialogs. Enterprise Architect is used to model the download.

Subject description

The objective is to orient services as closely as possible to customers' needs and to offer and sell these services to customers. This can only be achieved if sales and distribution has access to all the necessary information in a suitable form. This is particularly true for telemarketing, where suitable sales pitch templates should be provided for selected sales campaigns. These templates include data about the sales campaigns, all the relevant information about the customer and any contracts that have been concluded by the customer. In order to support a systematic sales approach within the framework of campaign planning and execution, data needs to be transferred from the mainframe system to the proprietary agency management and information system and made available to the sales promotion system.
