Usability test and optimization of software

Brief description
The aim of the project is to evaluate a software prototype in terms of safety-related usability problems in order to prevent serious operating errors. The software is to be optimized with the help of the usability findings by adapting the interaction design.
Supplement
The iterative evaluation identifies problems with the product in good time and adaptations can be included in the development process without major cost and effort. In this way, it is possible to guarantee good product quality. The task is to develop, perform and analyze a usability evaluation, as well as to compile specific improvements to the software. Furthermore, the task includes presenting and documenting the results, and initiating and monitoring the necessary product adaptations.
Subject description
The product in question is a piece of medical analytical software that is to be used in a laboratory environment. It is therefore particularly important to focus on safety-related risks, as operating errors and misunderstandings can have serious consequences on human life.
