Version upgrade of energy trade software with minor adaptations

Brief description
After a major implementation project that introduced long-term contracts and flexible sales transactions in the central Endur trading system, a cleanup is carried out with the following elements: – Correcting and enhancing the calculation of penalties for sales transactions – Introducing a scenario management module to make it easier to run simulations with optimized forecast quantities – Upgrade to the latest version release

Initially, requirements are defined in cooperation with the specialist departments. Next, all activities are supported, from conceptual design through to go-live. This involves activities in project management, as well as planning and executing the relevant test phases. By preference, the customizing functions of the Endur standard software are used to model contract components and processes. Individual script solutions are implemented in "OpenJVS" and "OpenComponent". Existing functions based on AVS scripts, where possible, also reimplemented or adapted in "OpenJVS". Test management uses the HPQC software to define and execute test cases and to manage any errors that occur.
Subject description
To enhance the existing calculation of penalties, the expected logic and the resultant changes to the existing logic are specified together with the department for strategic gas sales and substantiated with test cases. The specified changes are transferred to an offshore development team for implementation. Once development is complete, the functional tests are performed and the acceptance test work is coordinated. To introduce scenario management, the existing solution for simpler contracts is analyzed and the necessary adjustments are specified for mapping the logic in the new scenario management. This basic scenario management is then expanded to include more complex cases, such as flexible sales contracts or long-term procurement contracts. The software configuration is developed and tested for the overall solution. Necessary script adjustments are specified and transferred to the offshore development team.
