Web Application for a Link Directory
Project duration: 2 years, 1 month
Brief description
PTA assists customers in implementing a website for managing lists and links in the form of tiles or buttons. These tiles offer various functionalities and can be edited as desired.
Supplement
The service runs in the customer´s own cloud environment via an API gateway. The application is implemented as a single-page application using Vue.js and TypeScript and communicates with the backend-developed in Kotlin and Ktor-via a REST interface. User-specific tile configurations-such as order and visibility-are stored in a MongoDB database. Development follows an agile Scrum methodology, and quality assurance is supported by automated tests using Kotest.
Subject description
A website is being developed that allows users to centrally manage links to their applications. These links are displayed as tiles, each containing a title, a short description, and an image. Clicking on a tile redirects users directly to the corresponding application. The tiles can be customized individually. In particular, their order and visibility can be adjusted to meet personal needs. This creates a central, well-organized, and user-friendly entry point for frequently used applications.
