WhatNow
Brief description
WhatNow is a Learning Management System (LMS) for providing, running, and documenting learning paths for employee upskilling. It delivers on-demand micro-learnings and verifies learning progress chapter by chapter through quizzes, documented with accountability rather than consumed at will. Designed and built on the principles of Spec-Driven Development and Agentic Engineering, powered by an AI-driven content pipeline that creates new learning paths and keeps them continuously up to date.

A web-based solution provides learning content across a wide range of topics, personalized by business unit and experience level. Formats range from comprehensive learning paths that cover a topic in depth to focused micro-learnings for individual subjects. Learning progress is verified chapter by chapter through quizzes, with results persisted permanently. At any time, employees can view their own learning progress and open topics within the application, and passed quizzes remain permanently visible in a personal archive. Line managers get their own view: they can see and actively steer the learning topics and progress of their own team members.
Subject description
In a consulting firm, consultants are organized into business units, each with its own know-how topics alongside a shared, company-wide body of cross-functional knowledge. From this combined need, a structured training catalog emerges, whose building blocks combine into learning modules and paths tailored precisely to role and experience level. Training delivery and progress are logged and can be evaluated both at the level of individual employees and entire business units. Keeping the catalog continuously current is handled by an AI-driven content pipeline, with a human subject-matter reviewer approving every change; the platform itself is built following the principles of Spec-Driven Development, on a modern, type-safe technology stack of Next.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
