Brief description
Structuring of and support for a regular stock check for a commercial enterprise. The stocks in the branch enterprise resource planning and inventory management systems are reconciled to the central enterprise resource planning system in SAP R/3 Retail and the data is formatted for stock corrections.
Supplement
The data from the peripheral systems is made available, loaded to SAP BW and compared with the stock values extracted from SAP Retail. This monitoring should take place at regular intervals in order to monitor inventory differences between the connected application systems for enterprise resource planning.
Subject description
The leading systems for the merchandise stocks are decentralized systems that transfer their transaction data promptly via ALE/IDoc to SAP Retail. Accounting – specifically inventory management on a value basis and inventory valuation – is handled in SAP Retail.
