Required plan versions and the corresponding master data from the plant are imported from Cognos, the existing data warehouse system, into the Access application using Excel files. An automatic completeness check takes place.

The imported data is prepared so that the investment planner can create standard reports for users using Excel templates. You can also choose which plan versions you want to compare. You do not need to manually adjust the evaluation for a new plan version. Legacy data can be transferred from the previous version. Performance improvement is achieved because there is no need to log in to the Cognos system and there is no need to constantly update the cube.
