The main topic of the project is SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). The CPI system is used to enable data communication between cloud-based and on-premise systems. Two integration scenarios of the project are the SAP Cloud for Customer (C4C) connection to SAP ERP and the Salesforce connection to SAP ERP.
Supplement
Within the scope of the project several systems will be set up and configured. Data processing and forwarding in the cloud is carried out both via standard SAP integration flows (iFlows) and via iFlows developed in-house. Project topics: Cloud to Cloud connection / Cloud to On-Premise connection / On-Premise to On-Premise connection / Provision, configuration and further development of standard integration content in CPI (iFlows) / Development of own iFlows / Monitoring in CPI, ERP (e.g. IDOCs) / System configurations in CPI, ERP, Cloud Platform Cockpit, Cloud Connector / Provision of required certificates in CPI and SAP / Adapter configurations (e.g. SOAP, IDOC, Salesforce)
Subject description
In the C4C-ERP scenario, a quotation and order process is mapped. This uses ERP master data in C4C and ultimately leads to a sales order that is processed in SAP ERP. The master data transferred are organizational structures, customer data, material data and price conditions. The prices in C4C are determined using external pricing. The Salesforce-ERP scenario deals with the data transfer of customer, product, price and order data between Salesforce and SAP ERP. Accounts are transferred bidirectionally to make additional Salesforce customer data available in the ERP. The Salesforce adapter is used for Salesforce-ERP data communication.
