How to get AI on the road
Artificial intelligence has long since arrived in many companies. However, it will only be most useful when it makes the step from tests and pilot projects to productive operation. It was precisely this question that was the focus of our joint webinar with Statista.
In the webinar “Certified AI Ready: How to get AI on the road”, Dr. Tim Walleyo, Managing Director of PTA IT-Beratung, Dr. Frank Gredel, Management Consultant at PTA IT-Beratung and Robin Rehfeldt from Statista showed how companies can use artificial intelligence in a structured, scalable way and with measurable added value.

More InformationData situation: AI is relevant, but often not yet implemented
At the beginning of the webinar, Robin Rehfeldt presented key findings from a Statista survey of 200 IT decision-makers from German companies with more than 100 employees. The picture is clear: AI is perceived as strategically important, but many organizations are still in the early stages of implementation. There is often a lack of clear objectives and strategies. Added to this are challenges such as a lack of time, security and data protection concerns, technical hurdles, budget restrictions and a shortage of qualified specialists.
At the same time, the potential is clearly recognized. This includes better decision-making, a stronger customer focus and efficiency gains through automation and relief in day-to-day business.
Our approach: think holistically and take a structured approach

The picture is clear: AI is perceived as strategically important, but many organizations are still in the early stages of implementation. There is often a lack of clear objectives and strategies. Data structures as the key to AI readiness
A particular focus was on the topic of data. Dr. Frank Gredel made it clear that many AI initiatives fail less because of the technology than because of historically grown data structures. Distributed silos, a lack of concepts and inconsistent storage make the use of generative AI in particular considerably more difficult.
The webinar showed why clear structuring of data is crucial in order to maintain correlations and enable AI to deliver reliable results. Different approaches to data organization were presented, from centralized models to decentralized concepts with clearly defined rules, responsibilities and standards.
Use cases: AI as productive support in everyday life
Using specific application examples, Dr. Tim Walleyo showed how AI can already be used productively today. Particularly in sales and CRM processes, AI agents help to process information, prepare meetings, create summaries and suggest next steps. This frees up more time for value-adding activities, while humans retain the decisive role.
