Analysing the future viability of the data access layer of a master data application

Brief description
In view of the increasing volume of data on the one hand and the increasing complexity of processes on the other, the sustainability and future-proofing of the entire data access layer of the master data application will be analysed and possible alternatives outlined as part of the project. Communication with external systems (interface processes) will be analysed and consolidated with regard to their structure and complexity.
Supplement
The entire user management, in particular the technical connects, is reviewed across all applications and a modern role concept is derived. A harmonised infrastructure with regard to storage structures and maintenance plans is also being developed across all applications.
Subject description
As a central system, the customer's master data application is constantly being developed further in order to keep pace with technological advances and meet the ever-changing requirements of the energy market. This makes it necessary to adapt the interfaces, but also the role and data exchange concepts of the various subsystems to the changing circumstances.
