Business analysis, test case creation and execution in the contract system
Brief description
Supporting the customer in analyzing requirements from the specialist department for the contract and premium system. The analysis includes recording use cases, creating UI elements using draw.io, and clarifying issues with the internal product developers and the analysis and development teams for related components such as billing, document printing, and tasks. In addition, reviews of use cases from other business analyses are carried out to ensure correctness and completeness. Furthermore, the customer is supported in the creation and execution of manual system and integration tests.

Use cases are recorded in Confluence. Embedded in Confluence, the interface elements are designed using draw.io. Questions to the specialist department regarding the requirements and coordination with the development team are clarified online via Teams meetings. Manual tests are recorded and performed in Azure Cloud. During testing, both the application and mass processing jobs for which no interfaces are provided are tested. These jobs are triggered using Swagger, and the logs are downloaded from the Hangfire Dashboard and checked.
Subject description
After the new contract application went into production for a small number of users, they identified open issues and new requirements for the application in their daily work. In addition, some functions were postponed in order to enable the go-live at the desired time. Both the new and the postponed requirements are formulated in use cases. This requires clarification with the specialist department, the architects, and the developers in order to integrate the functions into the application in a technically sensible manner. For some of the use cases, coordination with adjacent systems such as billing and document printing is also necessary. During test case creation, use cases are analyzed and converted into manual tests accordingly. Equivalence class formation with limit value analysis and decision tables were used for this purpose. The tests are recorded and performed in Azure Devops. Bugs are also recorded in Azure and Jira.
