Calculating the group-wide cross profits

Brief description
Development of a new system for calculating and comparing local and group-wide (consolidated) profits. Different national currencies are to be taken into account in relation to the two local currencies.
Supplement
Developing an application on the basis of an Oracle database. The front end is implemented with Visual Basic and there are interfaces to SAP systems and a Hyperion system (MIS tool). A special feature of the system is the combination of automated calculations and the convenient option of manual manipulation.
Subject description
Processing income statements from the various affiliated companies (sales affiliates). Separate profit center, specific and hierarchical evaluations of the profits. Local, adjusted and consolidated profits can be analyzed at all levels.
