Concept Replacement of IT system for commercial evaluation of fuel elements

Brief description
An existing intranet system for handling and providing information on the business depreciation of fuel elements is to be used as a pure information system for historical data after its active use phase. PTA GmbH is responsible for analyzing, preparing, and evaluating implementation options for this requirement. The main trigger for this requirement is a modernization of the IT system landscape, which no longer allows the application to continue operating on the basis of outdated technologies (.NET 3.x, WCF, Entity Framework 3.x, and older Infragistics components).
Supplement
Various replacement scenarios for the old application, including technical and financial feasibility assessments, are created, prepared, and presented to the department. In preparation, technical aspects of individual solutions are examined using proof-of-concept approaches. In addition to the costs of modernizing the application, while focusing on the system's reduced future functionality, other key factors include minimizing operating costs and ensuring a high level of data protection for the managed data.
Subject description
The proposed solution is primarily intended to serve as evidence for audits; active use of the system or modification of existing historical information is no longer planned.
