Development of a test process for recurring projects in the line organisation
Brief description
The aim of the project is to develop a central test process for use in recurring, similar projects in a line organisation. PTA supports the definition of the necessary test process steps and their implementation in SpiraTeam.
Supplement
The responsibilities of PTA include the configuration of SpiraTeam for use as a central test case database, as well as the documentation of process steps for test preparation, test execution, and the deviations identified during testing. Additionally, PTA is responsible for conducting role-specific training and providing methodological support and consulting throughout the entire testing process – from execution to evaluation – ensuring the highest quality and efficiency in the tests.
Subject description
Since similar projects occur repeatedly within the line organisation, it is necessary to develop a universal, reusable test process. The central element here is a test case database in which the test cases can be easily customised and arranged into project-specific test series. This approach not only simplifies the required steps, but also contributes to the standardization of the testing process, significantly reducing the workload. Additionally, a central location is created for the documentation of results and deviations, increasing transparency and supporting the continuous improvement of the testing process.
