Brief description

PTA extends the functionality of the interface provided by Inflectra between the Spira Team system and the Redmine system to enable a fully bi-directional synchronisation of tickets/incidents from both systems.

The interface provided by Inflectra between the Spira team system and the Redmine system enables the transfer of newly created incidents from Spira to Redmine. Similarly, incidents added to the Redmine system are transferred to the Spira system. However, updates of comments and attachments of different files of a ticket is only possible unidirectionally from Redmine to Spira in this version of the interface. PTA extends the functionality of the interface so that a synchronisation of fields, comments and attachments from Spira to Redmine is also possible. The basis for this is the Spira-Redmine-Datasync SDK provided by Inflectra, which is developed in the high-level programming language C# and belongs to the ASP .NET framework. From the later extended source code, a compiled .DLL file is generated, which is deposited in a special folder on the Spira server. This is necessary to provide the extended functionality.

Subject description

PTA's development team provides the customer with a compiled .DLL file that provides the desired functionality. The compiled .DLL file is a plug-in for SpiraTeam that enables a fully bidirectional synchronisation of Spira Team Incidents and Redmine Incidents. The change of an attribute within a Spira Team Incident can now also be mapped in the Redmine system. This was previously only possible from Redmine to Spira.
