Implementation of MS CRM for laboratory system

Brief description

A company that has joined an international corporation is implementing a CRM system based on Microsoft CRM Dynamics, as required by corporate standards. The company’s master data pool, which differs from the corporate data pool for historical reasons, will be harmonized and consolidated according to corporate standards. CRM-related processes will be analyzed and documented. Specific adjustments will then be made in the standard system.. Training documents will be created and user training courses will be conducted. During the implementation phase, client-specific adjustments will be made and, if necessary, modified in the system. Organizing and coordinating the implementation process is a key task.

Supplement

Based on an existing planned concept, the CRM system covers all significant customer-specific processes from offer creation to application support. In the first phase, implementation is performed in the areas of Sales and Marketing. In the subsequent phases, the areas of product creation and customer support are linked with the system. The process is based on a customer-specific procedure model and currently defined by legal regulations. There are plans to migrate the system to version CRM 2011.

Subject description

The company’s core business is creation and customer-specific adjustment of a laboratory information system for large medical laboratories. The processes follow the project structure. The product has a modular structure, which allows a certain standardization of the product/offer structure. Because the technical infrastructure of the laboratories is very different, however, comprehensive individual adjustments are generally required per customer project. Also after completion of the implementation phase, further customer support is continued over an extended period, as the technical and/or organizational infrastructure is in flux. With this long-term customer relationship and the increasing international alignment of the company, corresponding requirements must be covered by the CRM system.
