Integration of a platform for document exchange between customers and external service providers

Brief description
In order to simplify document exchange between the insurance company and insured policy holders, a platform is integrated into the existing application landscape for exchanging documents. It is implemented on the basis of an ESB (Enterprise Service Bus).
Supplement
The ESB is implemented by means of a proprietary Java EE-based integration layer which carried out data routing and transformation between internal systems of the insurance company and the IBM Insurance Service Hub (ISH). The ISH then organizes communication with the insured policyholders in turn.
Subject description
If the insured policyholder needs to submit documents, this can be done by electronic means. For this purpose, the insured policyholder is initially sent a link to a personalized upload portal. Via this portal, the insured policyholder can then transfer documents quickly and securely to the insurance company.
