Integration of a sales unit into an existing CRM system

Brief description

For a newly established sales unit of an insurance company, part of the existing CRM system is being replaced by a newly developed application. The current system needs to be adapted and various interfaces between the systems need to be developed.

Supplement

The existing CRM system is a customized software in Delphi that is installed on the dedicated computers. The newly developed application for the specialized sales unit is a cloud-based web application implemented in Angular. The integration is implemented via residual interfaces and dedicated servers, which are responsible for maintaining communication between the systems. For the implementation of this integration, PTA filled all roles in an implementation team. This includes the product owner, scrum master, IT architect, business analysts and developers. The requirements are implemented in an agile setup, which includes continuous improvement, common agile formats and constant feedback processes with the stakeholders.

Subject description

For effective integration of this web application, the existing system must be adapted so that certain functionalities can no longer be made available there depending on the context or user. In addition, interfaces and an infrastructure must be developed to enable data exchange between the individual decentralized applications and the central system.
