Migration of MS SQL Server version 2000 to 2005

Brief description
Due to the SQL Server conversion from 2000 to 2005, the CRM systems continue to operate in an environment for which Microsoft provides support. Necessary technical adjustments on SQL level and their tests as well as communication with the customer are carried out by the PTA.
Supplement
The CRM systems to be converted run in a Windows Server 2003 and SQL Server 2000 environment. Along with the migration, the server infrastructure is consolidated by using multiple SQL instances. All involved CRM components (middleware, interfaces, DTS, stored procedures etc.) and connection of external systems (SAP, BizTalk etc.), which are necessary for the operation of the CRM software, must also be adapted and consolidated. The conversion and adaptation as well as the necessary technical and acceptance tests are coordinated and carried out by PTA.
Subject description
CRM systems are operational systems that are used to record customer processes (patients and business) in different areas. Due to the age of the infrastructure used, the customer runs the risk of operating the systems in a safety-critical environment. The changeover ensures operation in a manufacturer-supported environment for the next few years.
