Brief description
In the course of the release upgrade to mySAP ERP 2005, the release upgrade of SAP BW 3.0 to SAP BI 7.0 (NW2004s) is to be separated out as an independent upgrade project and brought forward. Additionally, leading support is to be provided for preparing and carrying out the release upgrade in the area of test management and test coordination.
Supplement
AWB is the central tool for the release upgrade. The test management and test coordination is to be supported using MS Office products. The central tool in the area of test management and test coordination is the MS Access-based PTA test database, which has been adjusted to the specific customer requirements of this project.
Subject description
The release upgrade of SAP BW 3.0 to SAP BI 7.0 is a purely technical migration. The functional expansions and opportunities of BI 7.0 shall be handled in a subsequent project. The migration is accompanied by suitable test management and test coordination.
