Source code harmonization of an administrative application for chemical preparations

The goal of the work is to unify two Access applications of an originally common source code base, whose functionalities have been diverging due to use and further development in different departments. In addition, the data management is being unified and transferred to a SQL Server database.

MS Access is used for the application front end. The data storage is provided by SQL Server.
Subject description
The aim is to achieve savings in the future maintenance and further development of the joint application. In addition, the existing data protection and security requirements of the company are met by using a centrally administered data storage system.
