System integration tests of a reporting obligation application
Project duration: 6 months
Brief description
Preparation and execution of system integration testing for a newly developed reporting obligation application at an insurance brokerage firm in the B2B sector. The activities mainly include the creation of test cases, clarification of functional and technical gaps in the requirements, and the execution of the tests. Interfaces to a CRM, document management, output management, and contract management system are being tested.
Supplement
The reporting obligation application is being completely redesigned with the aim of digitizing reporting obligation activities, which were previously handled by paper mail. MS Team Foundation Server is used as the test management system. Database-based tests and analyses are performed using Oracle SQL Developer. Atlassian Confluence is used as the platform for internal and cross-team documentation. Atlassian Jira is used for defect and requirements management.
Subject description
Policyholders are obliged to inform insurers about the current condition of the insured object at certain intervals (reporting obligation). For this purpose, customer advisors create questionnaires (known as reporting forms) in the application and send them digitally to customer contacts. The customer contacts fill out these reporting forms in the application and return them electronically to the customer advisor.
