Brief description
This new development is used to map software test cases and test sequences, as well as to manage the results of the tests and report the progress of the tests.
Supplement
The maintenance and reporting front end is an Access database; the back end is an SQL server. One particular feature of this tool is the option of mapping sequences of test steps and managing them in versions. The tool is designed for multiple languages and is used in the group around the world.
Subject description
This tool is used for quality assurance in the context of major IT projects. It enables a convenient and structured mapping of numerous tests. After the system is created, PTA shall also provide ongoing support and further development. As of 2005, the test database is validated in accordance with FDA guidelines (see project ID 1898).
