Web application for the view and modification of actuarial data in the cloud
Brief description
New development of a cloud-based web application to expand the portfolio system for recording and maintaining insurance contracts. This supports the user in particular with manual changes to existing contract statuses by technical experts from the insurance technology department. The focus here is also on replacing technically outdated applications with a modern and future-proof architecture. PTA provides support in both development and administrative DevOps activities.

The web application is realised as a single page application with the Angular framework. This is operated in the cloud together with a backend implemented in Java. The frontend and backend communicate with each other via REST requests. The backend also communicates with other services via REST or SOAP interfaces, for example to call a calculation core or to exchange data with the existing system. The focus of the activities is on supporting the architecture, implementation and, in particular, embedding the application and connecting other systems in the cloud environment.
