Brief description
In order to network the areas involved in the acquisition and quotation process, Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 is introduced in a company in the energy sector. Sales processes such as central contact and address management, job and activities management, process management and reporting are supported in part by customer-specific enhancements.
Supplement
To expand the standard software Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013, web sites are created using HTML, JavaScript and CSS. Elementary frameworks for this development are JQuery and Knockout.js. Furthermore, plug-ins and web services are created in C# and .Net 4.5 is used as a framework. Kanban is used as the project methodology. Team Foundation Server 2012 is used for code management and to visualize the Kanban board. Visual Studio 2012 is used as the development environment. The documentation is saved in Microsoft SharePoint.
Subject description
Support for the quotation process, management of individual quotation versions and additional customer-specific documents via integration in Microsoft SharePoint. The quality of address data maintenance is assured by means of geocoding. In addition, customer hierarchies are structured. Additional master data maintenance is mapped in CRM standard. The sales process is coordinated to the company's specific situation. Sales colleagues and sales managers can use dashboards to gain an overview of the current situation for quotations and orders.
